In the Bar code system data is shown by the bars (lines) of varying thickness and spacing between them . Bar Code Reader which is commonly used in many countries for most of the retail goods . In UPC the bars are detected as 10 digits in which first five digits are used to identify manufacturer or supplier of the product and the remaining five digits are used to identify the product etc.
